Youth Raise Over Shs 6 million for Parish Construction

Youth from various parishes across Kasana–Luweero Diocese have raised Shs 6,585,000 to support Bishop Lawrence Mukasa’s ongoing campaign to construct new parishes within the Diocese.
The contribution was announced on Sunday, November 23, 2025, during the youth pilgrimage to the Diocese as part of the Holy Jubilee Year activities.
Addressing the pilgrims, Bishop Mukasa commended the youth for their generosity and active participation in the pilgrimage.
He encouraged them to prioritize pursuing Holy Matrimony, emphasizing that the Church is strengthened when families are rooted in faith.
The Bishop further urged the youth to prepare for the official closure of the Holy Jubilee Year, scheduled for December 28, 2027.
The youth pilgrimage was led by Rev. Fr. Francis Luboneza, the Diocesan Youth Chaplain, and attended by Mr. Patrick Kaweesi, the Diocesan Youth Leader, along with numerous other dignitaries and youth participants.
